Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work full-time hours
- Ability to adhere to Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Availability to work assigned shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a deli, bakery, or food service environment is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter to provide assistance and answer questions
- Move incoming merchandise efficiently from storage to salesfloor
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
- Comply with health and sanitation guidelines consistently
- Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth department operations
