Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to follow food safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work full-time hours including evenings and weekends
- No tolerance for illegal drug and alcohol use on the job
- Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or retail preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter to provide excellent customer service
- Move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor
- Clean and maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor product freshness and quality
- Operate deli and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
