Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to handle work that involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- availability for full-time shifts
- willingness to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to follow safety procedures and food handling regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in deli or bakery operations is an advantage
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- basic math skills for portioning and pricing
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter with friendly and knowledgeable assistance
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and organize displays
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli and bakery departments
- comply with all health and food safety standards
- assist with inventory control and stock rotation
- support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
