Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • able to work opening and morning shifts
  • capable of standing for long periods
  • able to lift moderate weights
  • willing to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
  • able to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in deli or bakery preferred but not required
  • basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
  • engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly assistance
  • move incoming merchandise to the sales floor promptly
  • clean and maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • adhere to proper food handling procedures
  • support team in maintaining department cleanliness and organization
  • assist with inventory control and product rotation
