Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to work part-time during mid-shift and closing hours
- comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- legally authorized to work in the United States
- must meet minimum wage requirements applicable to the location
- willingness to undergo background check
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and standing
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in deli or bakery operations is a plus
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including mid-shifts and closing
- knowledge of food safety practices
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team environment
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing excellent service
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor efficiently
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- comply with all food safety and sanitation standards
- assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- support team members and management as needed
