Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to work mid-shift and closing shifts
- ability to adhere to Walmart’s policies including drug-free workplace
- able to meet the physical demands of the job such as standing and lifting
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
- willingness to comply with food safety regulations
- legal authorization to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or retail environment is a plus
- basic customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- knowledge of food safety standards preferred
- good communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter
- move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor
- clean and maintain proper food safety standards
- follow company policies and procedures related to food handling and safety
- assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- provide friendly and efficient customer service
