Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to stand for extended periods
- willingness to work full-time hours
- must comply with food safety regulations
- able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- pass background check and drug screening
- availability to work mid-shift and closing shifts
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in deli or bakery preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work flexible hours including mid and closing shifts
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- effective communication skills
- basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter with professionalism
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor
- maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- assist in inventory management
- provide timely service during mid and closing shifts
- adhere to Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
