Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to work full-time hours including mid and closing shifts
- Ability to adhere to Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Must pass any required background checks and drug screenings
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting, standing, and moving merchandise
- Willingness to follow all safety and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli or bakery food preparation is advantageous but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently during mid-shift and closing hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Ability to handle merchandise and stock efficiently
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and efficient service
- Move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor for restocking
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli and bakery areas
- Adhere to proper food safety standards and protocols
- Rotate stock and check product freshness to minimize waste
- Perform regular cleaning tasks to ensure health and safety compliance
