Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read and understand English
- Availability to work part-time hours including mornings and openings
- Ability to meet company food safety and hygiene standards
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli or bakery preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work during opening and morning shifts
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic math and inventory skills
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing assistance and information
- Move incoming merchandise to the salesfloor promptly
- Clean and maintain proper food safety standards in the deli and bakery areas
- Ensure all products meet company quality standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Support team members with operational tasks as needed
