Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- willingness to adhere to Walmart’s policies including drug-free workplace
- eligibility to work in the United States
- availability for part-time mid-shift and closing hours
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
- physical ability to lift moderate weights
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in deli, bakery, or food service industry is a plus
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety guidelines and sanitation practices
- capability to work flexible hours including mid-shift and closing shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter to provide excellent service
- move incoming merchandise from receiving to sales floor efficiently
- clean and maintain work areas to ensure food safety standards
- comply with all health and safety regulations in the deli/bakery department
- participate in inventory management and stock replenishment
- assist in training new associates as needed
