Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to work full-time including early morning shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- reliable transportation to the store location
- legal authorization to work in the united states
- pass a background check and drug screening
- commitment to following walmart's drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a deli or bakery setting is advantageous
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- willingness to work morning and opening shifts
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products according to company standards
- engage with customers at the service counter by providing friendly and efficient service
- move incoming merchandise and stock products on the sales floor
- clean and maintain food preparation and work areas following proper food safety standards
- monitor food quality and rotate products to ensure freshness
- assist in inventory management and product ordering
- follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
