Job Requirements
- Must be able to work full-time shifts including opening and morning
- Must meet or exceed minimum wage requirements applicable to location
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in deli, bakery, or food service helpful but not mandatory
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and efficient service
- Move incoming merchandise from storage to sales floor ensuring timely replenishment
- Clean and maintain food preparation and service areas to meet health and safety standards
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times
- Ensure accurate labeling and presentation of products
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
