Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or customer service preferred
- Ability to work mid-shift and closing shift hours
- Must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli, bakery, or food service roles advantageous
- Customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills for measuring and preparing products
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter to provide assistance and answer questions
- Move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor to ensure product availability
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment following food safety standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain proper food safety standards
- Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals and customer satisfaction
