Job Requirements
- ability to work mid-shift and closing shifts
- must meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location
- willingness to comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with deli and bakery work
- basic math skills for handling transactions and stock
- availability to work part-time hours
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in deli, bakery, or food service environment is a plus
- ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- knowledge of food safety practices
- ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- engage with customers at the service counter providing excellent service
- move incoming merchandise to the sales floor efficiently
- clean and maintain proper food safety and hygiene standards
- follow inventory management procedures including receiving and rotating stock
- comply with Walmart’s policies and safety standards
- support team efforts to meet departmental goals
