Job Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Availability to work part-time shifts including mid-shift and closing hours
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in deli or bakery service is a plus
Strong customer service skills
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Basic math and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible schedules including mid-shift and closing hours
Good communication and teamwork abilities

Job Duties

Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
Engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and efficient assistance
Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor promptly
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in deli and bakery areas
Adhere to proper food safety standards
Assist with inventory management and product rotation
Support team members in achieving department goals
