Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and company policies
- Availability to work full-time including opening and morning shifts
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight as needed
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Pass Walmart’s pre-employment drug screening and background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in deli, bakery, or food service is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Job Duties
- Prepare quality deli and bakery products for customers
- Engage with customers at the service counter providing friendly and knowledgeable service
- Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor efficiently
- Clean and maintain work areas ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding food preparation and safety
- Operate kitchen and serving equipment safely and properly
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
