Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • prior deli or food service experience
  • ability to obtain Food Manager certification within 12 months
  • ability to stand or bend over worktable for duration of shift
  • ability to move or handle merchandise weighing 0-100 pounds
  • ability to work varied hours including weekends
  • compliance with company safety and quality standards
  • willingness to undergo background screening and drug testing

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items such as hot meals, sandwiches, salads, and soups
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and responding to inquiries
  • properly handle, prepare, transport, and store products following food safety guidelines
  • operate and inspect equipment and notify management of maintenance needs
  • stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
  • comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or incidents
  • understand and operate the POS system handling various payment methods
  • assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
  • perform other department duties including stocking and cleaning
  • prioritize requests and complete tasks within deadlines
  • accurately complete all required documentation
  • move or handle merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds
  • work varied hours including weekends
  • uphold company quality goals and standards
