Job Requirements
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years
- ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, stooping, squatting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and kneeling
- safe operation of deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, knives, mixers
- safe operation of case cutter, utility knife, forklift (with certification), pallet jack, and compact baler
- adherence to all safety protocols
- ability to follow detailed food handling procedures
- ability to work inside with temperature variations and some outside work
- ability to maintain positive and honest attitude
- adherence to company attendance and conduct policies
Job Qualifications

- must be 18 years of age or older
- prior experience in supermarket or deli preferred

Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate D&E service and Hospitality 4 guidelines
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company standards
- notify management of guest or teammate accidents or injuries
- report all safety risks and illegal activity including robbery, theft or fraud
- be respectful, courteous, and helpful to teammates
- stay current with all ads
- understand the store's layout and guide guests to products
- perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- perform tasks assigned by managers
- follow proper food handling and safety protocols
- ensure sanitation of department and equipment
- follow technical manuals for processing products
- update displays and cases to showcase new items and promotions
- prep, store, rotate, and stock merchandise
- prepare items per guest requests using proper equipment
- inform guests of department specials and make recommendations
- provide fresh products with correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
- use all equipment according to guidelines
- prepare, package, label and inventory ingredients
- check product quality and review sell-by dates
- report ordering and shipping discrepancies
- maintain inventory awareness and note discrepancies
- ensure proper temperatures and log maintenance
- follow food safety guidelines
- prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions
- measure, prepare and mix ingredients according to recipe
