Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to operate deli slicers and scales
- prior experience in deli or food service preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds frequently
- willingness to adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards
- able to work in varying temperature environments including freezers and coolers
- able to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- regular and predictable attendance required
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- prior experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred
- knowledge of deli products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slices, packages, weighs, and sells deli products including meats and cheeses
- maintains the presentation and cleanliness of the deli department and deli display cases
- provides assistance to members by answering questions and taking special orders
- receives and inspects deli shipments
- stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety and freshness policies
- operates deli equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces
- ensures scale systems are calibrated for accurate weighing and pricing
- maintains adherence to club policies and procedures
- performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- ensures regular, predictable attendance
