Job Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards
  • previous food service experience
  • ability to supervise and lead a team
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to maintain deli area and equipment
  • commitment to excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background
  • incredible customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer focused culture
  • ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards
  • ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives
  • must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervise team members in the hot deli area
  • assist the Deli Manager by ensuring food freshness and quality
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli section
  • ensure food safety standards and equipment maintenance
  • provide excellent customer service
  • manage stocking and inventory of deli supplies
  • work collaboratively with team members and other departments
