Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 6 years of supervisory experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate deli equipment according to company guidelines
- Proficient computer skills
- Possession or ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180 days
- Ability to handle stressful situations

- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to operate deli equipment like slicer, fryer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun
- Proficient with computer applications for department operations
- Possession of Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain within 180 days
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of the deli department
- Promote and execute consistent and compliant operating conditions
- Provide fresh and appealing products with courteous, knowledgeable and prompt service
- Execute merchandising plans mindful of standards, product levels, shrink, and sales trends
- Supervise, train, and develop team members and provide coaching as needed
- Ensure department profitability through accurate forecasting and ordering
- Maintain safety and food handling compliance according to USDA and DOA regulations
- Perform inventory planning, organize and execute inventory processes
- Handle recalls and withdrawals of products timely
- Collaborate with store leadership for hiring and performance management
- Manage scheduling to ensure optimal customer service during peak hours
- Adhere to wage and hour policies and ensure adherence to company safety protocols
