Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years leadership experience including 1 year management in retail grocery, restaurant, fast food, or food service
- ability to work full-time including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- capability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures
- strong communication skills
- attention to detail
- understanding of safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience including at least 1 year in a management role in retail grocery, restaurant, fast food, or food service
- excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
- strong attention to detail related to food safety, quality control, and inventory management
- full understanding and application of safety requirements and on-the-job safety training
- ability to inspire and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Job Duties
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences by recognizing and reacting to guests needs
- lead and develop the deli kitchen team through training, coaching, and support
- ensure high-quality standards by monitoring recipe execution, shrinkage, and quality control
- oversee deli operations including inventory management, ordering, food rotation, temperature management, and product replenishment
- collaborate and encourage teamwork, fostering a positive work environment among staff and with other store associates
- drive production decisions by analyzing weekly movement reports to meet guest demand while minimizing waste
- ensure department cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- honor commitments with regular attendance and timely communication for absences
- support the team with other duties as assigned
