Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in environments of extreme cold
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience with food preparation or cooking in restaurant, bakery, or catering environment preferred
- Experience in retail or customer service environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and prepare food in deli, juice bar, pizza/sandwich, and hot bar departments
- Maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing merchandising guidelines
- Verify proper signage and pricing of items in the department
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the department, including fixtures, storage, workstations, freezers, and coolers
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
