Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in environments of extreme cold
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience with food preparation or cooking in restaurant, bakery, or catering environment preferred
  • Experience in retail or customer service environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and prepare food in deli, juice bar, pizza/sandwich, and hot bar departments
  • Maintain an attractive sales floor by implementing merchandising guidelines
  • Verify proper signage and pricing of items in the department
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the department, including fixtures, storage, workstations, freezers, and coolers
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
