Job Duties
- Maintain clean dishes and kitchen equipment in adherence to food safety guidelines
- scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place in dishwashing machine racks
- wash pots, pans, and trays
- sort and put away clean dishes in designated locations
- clean dish machine after every shift and remove excess debris
- clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- organize and set up dish stations and keep dish area clutter-free
- sweep and mop kitchen floors
- perform regular deep cleaning of department areas
- segregate and dispose garbage, compost, oils, grease, and recycling
- transport laundry to designated pickup areas
- assist in daily food preparation as needed
- aid in proper storage and organization of department deliveries
- organize, rotate, and stock workstation and department supplies
- operate equipment including dishwashing machines and kitchen appliances
- follow and comply with health and safety procedures and established protocols
- report safety hazards and violations immediately
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
