  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Experience using navigational tools such as MapQuest Google Maps etc

Job Duties

  • Collect deli orders from the kitchen or deli counter ensuring all items are correctly packed and match the customer's order
  • Deliver deli orders to customers in a courteous timely and efficient manner
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries and handle any delivery issues or discrepancies professionally
  • Report any customer feedback or complaints to the deli manager
  • Maintain an organized delivery schedule to ensure all orders are delivered within the designated time window
  • Communicate with the deli regarding any delays or changes in delivery times
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit daily delivery logs or reports to the deli management team
  • Assist with packaging orders when needed during peak times
  • Monitor delivery supplies such as delivery bags coolers and equipment and report any shortages or replenishment needs to the deli supervisor
  • Market your zone by handing out flyers and cards to nearby businesses during your delivery drop-offs
