Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 6 months of production cooking experience or equivalent education and training
  • valid Washington State Food Worker Card
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to accurately, efficiently, and safely prepare ingredients for recipes
  • ability to read and apply recipes and procedures
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • ability to read, understand and apply various documents such as recipes, department manuals, standard operating procedures

  • valid WA State Food Worker Card

Job Duties

  • Prepares deli recipes according to procedure
  • packages and labels products in accordance with company procedure and food safety protocols
  • cleans and stocks deli cases according to procedure, utilizing proper signage
  • maintains a clean workspace in accordance with food safety protocols
  • maintains working knowledge of deli recipes and prepared foods
  • trains other staff as needed
  • receives product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy
  • maintains back-stock areas according to department standards
  • catalogs and codes invoices according to procedure
  • assists in other departments as needed
  • performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs
  • stock, rotate, and face items in back stock and display areas per procedure and as directed
