Job Requirements

  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to multi task

  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Culinary education preferred
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Must be at least 16 years of age to work in walk-in freezer or chill box and use knives
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate stove, oven, bread slicer and other power-driven equipment
  • Friendly and cheerful demeanor
  • Positive attitude towards work and customers
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Neat and clean appearance and habits

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including trimming, cutting, and slicing meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetables
  • Cook various hot entrees following specific recipes and menus
  • Prepare catering and customer orders
  • Monitor the hot showcase and refill with freshly prepared entrees
  • Follow all safe food handling guidelines
  • Greet, help, and thank customers with courteous and patient service
  • Clean and sanitize preparation and cooking areas as required
