Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- willingness to move and stand for extended periods
- ability to operate manual and power deli slicers
- commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
- flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- strong communication and customer service skills
- reliable and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred
- knowledge of deli products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service to members
- slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats
- assist members with product selection and special orders
- receive and inspect deli shipments
- stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety policies
- operate and maintain deli equipment safely
- clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces
- ensure scale systems are functioning and items are priced accurately
- follow company policies and procedures
- perform additional tasks as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
