Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and with assistance for heavier items
- comfort working in varying temperatures including freezers and coolers
- willingness to comply with company policies and food safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
- knowledge of deli products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice deli products including meats and cheeses
- package and weigh deli items accurately
- assist members with product selection and special orders
- maintain cleanliness and presentation of deli and display cases
- operate deli equipment safely and according to policy
- receive, inspect, and stock deli shipments
- follow food safety and freshness standards
- prepare special orders and party trays
- provide product samples and answer member inquiries
- ensure scale systems are functioning and priced accurately
- uphold company policies and procedures
- work collaboratively with team members
- perform duties in other departments as needed
- maintain regular and predictable attendance
