Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move frequently on hard surfaces and occasionally bend, reach, or stoop
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier objects with assistance
- Willingness to work in temperature-variable indoor environments including freezers and ovens
- Read and follow food safety and handling policies
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- Prior experience operating manual or power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service to members
- Slice, package, and weigh deli products including meats and cheeses
- Receive, inspect, display, stock, rotate, and store deli shipments according to food safety guidelines
- Maintain deli presentation and cleanliness including display cases and equipment
- Operate deli equipment safely and ensure scale systems are accurate
- Prepare and package special orders and party trays
- Uphold club policies and teamwork standards while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude
