Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
  • dependable and reliable
  • outgoing and friendly behavior
  • positive attitude
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • good communication skills
  • ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • able to answer phones and take special orders
  • able to lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
  • able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
  • perform general housekeeping
  • operate slicer and cooking equipment
  • adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
  • maintain Food Handlers permit
  • able to work in cooler and freezer environments
  • perform other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh and easy meals and deli items
  • provide high level of customer service
  • arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
  • assist customers with catering orders
  • maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the deli department
  • operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
  • perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas
