Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Exhibit outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Possess good communication skills
- Be able to take direction and work in a team
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Be able to lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
- Be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Operate slicer and other deli equipment safely
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Be able to work in different temperature environments such as cooler and freezer
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field

Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- Provide high level of customer service in the Deli department
- Arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
- Assist customers with catering orders
- Maintain food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
- Clean and sanitize the deli work area including tables, floors, walls, cases, cooler, and freezer
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, wrapping, and cooking devices safely
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the deli department
