Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- dependable and reliable
- outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and work in a team
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- able to lift or carry products up to 70 lbs horizontally and vertically
- able to stand up to 4 hours continuously for up to 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- operate deli equipment safely
- adhere to safety, health and food handling regulations including having a Food Handlers permit
- able to work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer
- perform other related duties as assigned

Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- provide high level of customer service
- arrange vegetables and slice meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety standards and cleanliness
- operate deli equipment such as slicers and cooking machines
- perform general housekeeping duties in the deli department
