Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have an outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- be able to lift/carry product weighing up to 70 lbs for distances up to 20 feet without mechanical assistance
- be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment and help maintain safe working condition of equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and regulatory guidelines including achieving and maintaining Food Handlers permit
- be able to work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer
- perform other related duties as assigned

- prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- provide high level of customer service
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety standards and sanitation
- operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment
- perform general housekeeping in the deli department
