Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously and for up to 8 hours per shift
- able to perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties
- adhere to safety and health regulations
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must maintain Food Handlers permit
- able to work in different temperature environments
- reliable and dependable
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- have experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields
- be dependable and reliable
- demonstrate friendly and outgoing behavior with positive attitude
- possess good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and standing for extended periods
- able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- operate kitchen equipment safely
- maintain a Food Handlers permit
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
- provide high-level customer service and product knowledge
- assist with catering orders and special requests
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- adhere to all food safety, health, and weight regulations
