Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have outgoing friendly behavior with positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- have ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- have good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in team environment
- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- must be able to lift carry product weighing up to 70 lbs from 4 to 60 inches for up to 4 hours
- must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously for total of 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- operate slicer wrapping and cooking equipment
- adhere to all safety health and weights and measures regulations and achieve and maintain a food handlers permit
- be able to work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer
- other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- experience working in grocery restaurant or related field
- dependable and reliable with positive attitude

- ability to operate deli equipment
- food safety knowledge
Job Duties
- prepare and cook meals attending to customer needs
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety and cleanliness standards in the deli department
- operate slicer wrapping and cooking equipment
- adhere to safety health and weights and measures regulations
- perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas
