Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Have an outgoing friendly behavior and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift/carry product up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Operate deli equipment safely
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations including Food Handlers permit
- Be able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Dependable and reliable
- Outgoing friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in different temperature environments
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift continuously
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals in the deli department
- Assist customers with making healthy food choices
- Operate slicers, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas including tables, floors, walls, coolers, and freezers
- Take special orders and answer phone calls
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations
- Lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
