Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- show outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to answer phones and take special orders
- able to lift/carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- able to stand up to 8 hours per shift
- perform cleaning and sanitizing duties
- operate deli equipment safely
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications

- experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field

- ability to interact with customers positively

- ability to take special orders over the phone
- food handlers permit
Job Duties
- prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- provide high-level customer service in the deli department
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance
