Job Requirements

  • Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Dependable and reliable

  • Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or a related field

  • Able to answer phones and take special orders

  • Knowledge of general housekeeping and sanitation in food service areas
  • Ability to operate deli equipment
  • Adherence to safety and health regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh deli items such as vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
  • Provide high-level customer service by assisting customers with product choices and catering orders
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli department, including tables, floors, walls, cases, coolers, and freezers
  • Operate deli equipment including slicers, wrapping machines, and cooking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
  • Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
  • Work in cooler and freezer environments as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
