- high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- dependable and reliable
- outgoing and friendly with positive attitude
- ability to interact with customers
- ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- ability to answer phones and take special orders
- ability to lift and carry product up to 70 lbs
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- operate slicers and cooking equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
- ability to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications

- high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- dependable and reliable

Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals in a professional kitchen environment
- provide high level of customer service in the deli department
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety standards and sanitation
- operate slicers, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
