Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or equivalent education and experience
- Dependable and reliable
- Outgoing and friendly with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- Ability to operate slicer and other equipment
- Adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- Dependable and reliable
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety knowledge including maintaining a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- Provide high level of customer service in the deli department
- Arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and other deli products attractively
- Assist customers with made-to-order sandwiches and catering orders
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment safely
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas
