Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field or combination of education and experience
- must be at least 18 years old
- dependable and reliable
- positive and outgoing behavior
- good communication skills
- able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
- able to stand for long periods
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- able to operate deli equipment
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
- complete food handler's permit
- perform general housekeeping duties
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred
- dependable and reliable
- outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude
- good communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
- able to stand for up to 8 hours
- capable of working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals and made-to-order sandwiches
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats attractively
- assist customers with catering orders and product knowledge
- maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- operate deli equipment including slicers and cooking units
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning tables, floors, walls, cases, coolers, and freezers
- adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements including food handling protocols
