Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field or combination of education and experience
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • dependable and reliable
  • positive and outgoing behavior
  • good communication skills
  • able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
  • able to stand for long periods
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • able to operate deli equipment
  • able to work in cooler and freezer environments
  • complete food handler's permit
  • perform general housekeeping duties

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
  • experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred
  • dependable and reliable
  • outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • able to answer phones and take special orders
  • able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs
  • able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • capable of working flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh and easy meals and made-to-order sandwiches
  • arrange vegetables and sliced meats attractively
  • assist customers with catering orders and product knowledge
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • operate deli equipment including slicers and cooking units
  • perform general housekeeping including cleaning tables, floors, walls, cases, coolers, and freezers
  • adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements including food handling protocols
