Job Requirements

- Experience in grocery or restaurant environment
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for long periods
- Food Handlers permit
- Dependable and reliable
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability
- Exhibit an outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude
- Show good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to take directions and handle special orders over the phone
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Obtain and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- Assist customers with making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- Help customers with catering orders
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure department cleanliness
- Operate slicing, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
