Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to work weekend shifts including Sundays
- Ability to perform physical tasks including grasp push pull carry stoop twist crouch reach and repetitive motion
- Ability to stand walk and bend throughout entire workday
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to coordinate with other departments
- Compliance with company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in deli or food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for weighing and pricing
- Capability to work in flexible scheduling including weekends
- Ability to learn and teach deli production techniques
- Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 30 pounds
Job Duties
- Prepare slice wrap weigh price and merchandise deli products
- Maintain high standards for product freshness cleanliness and sanitation
- Inform guests about deli products and services
- Increase sales by handing out food samples and recommending additional items
- Teach fundamentals of deli production including mixing scaling slicing cooking frying and finishing
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments for smooth operations
- Maintain department records
- Demonstrate friendly and courteous customer relations
