Job Requirements

be at least 18 years old
have a high school diploma or equivalent
possess relevant work experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
be dependable and reliable
show outgoing, friendly, and positive attitude
have good communication skills
able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
able to lift and carry items weighing up to 70 lbs
able to stand for extended periods
perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties
operate deli equipment safely
adhere to safety, health, and weight regulations
maintain a Food Handler's permit
work in varying temperature environments
accept other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

have experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field

possess good communication skills and ability to work in a team
able to handle special orders via phone
capable of lifting and carrying products up to 70 lbs
able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours
must have food safety knowledge and a Food Handler's permit
able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
provide high-level customer service in the Deli department
arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
assist customers with catering orders
maintain food safety standards and sanitation in the department
operate slicers, wrapping, and cooking equipment
perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
