Job Requirements

Be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
able to lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs for distances up to 20 feet without mechanical assistance
able to stand continuously up to 4 hours and total 8 hours per shift
perform general housekeeping and sanitizing
operate deli equipment safely
achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old
have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
dependable and reliable
outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
good communication skills
ability to take direction and work in a team environment
able to answer phones and take special orders

Job Duties

Prepare fresh and easy meals
provide high-level customer service
arrange vegetables and sliced meats for sandwiches
assist customers with catering orders
operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
maintain and sanitize work areas including tables, floors, walls, and equipment
adhere to food safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
