Job Requirements

Be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
Stand for up to 4 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness
Operate deli equipment safely
Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Work in cooler and freezer temperature environments
Other related duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
Dependable and reliable
Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and work in a team
Ability to answer phones and take special orders

Job Duties

Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
Provide high-level customer service in the deli department
Arrange vegetables, sliced meats, and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches
Assist customers with special orders and catering
Maintain food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
Operate and maintain slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
Clean and sanitize work areas, including tables, floors, coolers, and freezers
