Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- Dependable and reliable
- Outgoing and friendly with a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Able to lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work area
- Operate slicer and other equipment safely
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
- Able to work in cooler and freezer environments
- Other related duties as assigned

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook fresh and easy meals for customers
- Arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- Assist customers with catering orders
- Maintain food safety standards and proper sanitation of the deli area
- Operate slicers, wrapping machines, and cooking equipment
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks within the department
- Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge about meats, cheeses, and deli items
