Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- able to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs horizontally or vertically
- able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours, and for a total of 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- operate slicers, wrapping and cooking equipment safely and assist in maintaining equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- able to work in cooler and freezer temperature environments
- perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

- hold or be able to achieve a Food Handlers permit
- able to work in various temperature environments
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- arrange and display vegetables, sliced meats, and other deli items
- assist customers with catering orders and special requests
- maintain a clean and sanitary work environment including tables, floors, and equipment
- operate slicers, wrapping and cooking equipment safely
- adhere to food safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- work effectively in team settings and provide excellent customer service
