Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- be able to lift and carry products up to 70 lbs
- be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift with continuous standing up to 4 hours
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- operate slicers and cooking equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- maintain a food handler's permit
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
- perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years old
- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred
- dependable and reliable
- friendly attitude with strong customer service skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to operate deli equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
- able to lift and carry heavy items
Job Duties
- prepare and cook meals and fresh deli items
- assist customers with made-to-order sandwich orders and catering requests
- maintain cleanliness and sanitize food preparation areas
- operate deli equipment safely including slicers and cooking tools
- follow food safety protocols and maintain food handler certification
- lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
